This handmade idea is not so much for other people, but for yourself. Have you ever considered designing your own holiday card? Use my Holiday Photo Card templates (free download below) to make it easy on yourself.

Once you download the file you will need to add your own beautiful photo to the card. Next send the card to your favorite photo printer. Easy as that! What I love about these cards is that I only pay as much as it costs to get a digital photo printed.

Another option is to add your photo and then save the file and email it to all your friends and family instead of paying postage.

How To | Holiday Photo Card

1. Download file to your computer. Unzip the file.
2. Open the holiday card file using image editing software. Software needs to be able to do multi-layer editing (i.e. Adobe Elements or Photoshop).
3. Open your photo using the same software. With both files open, drag and drop or copy and paste your photo onto the holiday card template.
4. Now the holiday card template file will have two layers. Use the Move tool to arrange your photo behind the holiday card template.
5. Save your file as a .jpg. Send file to your photo printer.
