Reindeer Food Picture

{Handmade Holiday Idea}

Isn’t this a magical Christmas season? My kids are enjoying every minute of the craziness here at our house. One project we love to make year after year is Magic Reindeer Food. We make a special trip outside on Christmas Eve to sprinkle our special mixture all over the front lawn.

We also love to create extras to give out to friends to enjoy. It’s an easy project for small children to make for others.

Advent Activity | Magic Reindeer Food

Ingredients:

  • Magic Reindeer Food Label (In my SHOP)
  • Sandwich or Zip Top Bag
  • Oats/Oatmeal
  • Colored Sugar
  • Crushed Candy Canes
  • Sprinkles
  • Stapler

1. Purchase and print the Magic Reindeer Food label from my SHOP.

2. Cut out the label and fold it in half.

3. Fill your baggie with oats, colored sugar, crushed candy canes and sprinkles. Seal the bag closed. (I like to use only food based products to make sure it is safe for any curious animals that may try a bite.)

4. Place label over top of baggie and staple it onto the bag.

5. Give as gifts to friends and classmates.

*Find the Magic Reindeer Food Label in my SHOP titled Kids Advent Activities Printables.

The back of the label reads:

Sprinkle on the lawn at night
The moon will make it sparkle bright
As Santa’s reindeer fly and roam
This will guide them to your home.
