These are my kids. We are now one of THOSE families, the ones with the window decals on the back of our vehicle portraying the members of our family. We became a Star Wars family earlier this year in February. My son turned 4 and one of his birthday gifts was a combo pack of the original 3 Star Wars movies. My kids fell in love with the movies and the characters. Their favorite movie is now Return of the Jedi. Favorite parts are Jabba the Hut holding Princess Leia captive and Luke Skywalker cutting off the head of that big “monster”. My boys can’t get enough of the light saber action and the assortment of creature like characters.

If you want to know a secret, my kids have decided that we need to go as Star Wars characters for Halloween. I am currently in the process of sewing an Ewok costume for my youngest. You will need to check back for the big reveal as Halloween nears. Even my husband and I are supposed to be involved. We will see how this all works out! The kids are really pumped. No pressure Mom…

Now that Star Wars has been introduced into our lives we have had to purchase light sabers and Angry Bird Star Wars stuffed birds. We now even own a number of Star Wars Legos. You know those Star Wars Lego Advent Calendars? I am sure we will end up with one of those this year.
