Some of you may not have heard yet, but we had a beautiful baby boy on Sat. We've named him Charles John. We will be calling him Charlie after his Grandpa George. He was born at 4:14 am and was 8lbs. 6ozs. and 21 inches long. He has a cute round face and dark hair.
Lorelei was a little disappointed to have a brother and not a sister, but all she wants to do is hold him every minute. She told me, "Now there is two moms, me and you." She has already proved to be a big helper and Charlie seems to love sitting/sleeping on her lap. Allan is excited to have a brother but has mainly gone about his normal activities without too much concern for the baby. He did climb up in bed with us this morning and give him a big kiss.
All of us are doing well. I am a little tired, but not feeling too bad. We can't wait for all of you to meet him.
