I have been thinking a lot about how much things change over the course of just one year. Already we are adjusting and changing our daily schedule here at home. By next year all this struggle to get things accomplished while holding a baby will be just a memory.
This year I am participating in Project Life. A day by day scrapbook and journal for the whole year. If you haven’t heard about it yet, you might want to check it out. Becky Higgins is the creator of this kit and it is easy to set up and do. You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to compile a year of memories using photos and journaling. Check out her blog here: Becky Higgins
Another awesome way to focus on what you want the New Year to bring is to choose a word to symbolize your goals for the year. My word for this year is LEAP. As in Leap of Faith, Leap for Joy, Leap for Health. I will see where else I find this word in my life as the year unfolds. I was inspired by Ali Edwards blog to choose a word of the year. Check out her amazing-ness at her blog and check out her idea for One Little Word. Click here: Ali Edwards Blog
If you are on Facebook you may have seen this challenge floating around in the new year.
Pay it forward 2011: I promise something handmade to the FIRST 5 people who leave a comment here. However, to be eligible, you must repost this status, offering something handmade to 5 other people. The rules are that it must be handmade by you and it must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011. Ready, set, GO!
I am participating, are you? (FYI: I am not participating in this on my blog, but I encourage you all to do something similar. Doesn’t it feel great to give?)
I am grateful to have lots of exciting things to LEAP forward towards in 2011!
