A Little of This and That

I would love to say that we have been very productive this season in the George household, but truth be told since Calista arrived being productive has been thrown out the window. Add to that the C-section I never could have planned for and now I am in a serious funk where I can’t seem to catch up on any of the activities I had planned. I really didn’t even have any grand plans this year. Just simple projects and the kids are older now and can do a lot on their own. Anyway most of the day is spent holding the baby or having some one else hold the baby. Look at how happy Allan is to hold her.

On a different note, I convinced my husband to make the truffles we all love. He did it all himself, he really is the best guy ever, I could write a long post about how helpful he has been through this whole c-section disaster. Any who, Charlie has once again discovered his love of truffles or “Truffalos” as Allan calls them. (BTW, did you catch The Gruffalo on ABC Family the other night? If not check it out at this site.) Ok back to truffles. So Charlie sees the refrigerator is about to shut and he snatches himself a truffle right off the tray where they were cooling in the fridge. I didn’t even know he had a truffle. When I caught him he held it tightly and yelled “MINE!” and gave me his cheese face. Oh, who could take away a truffle after that…
