We have a new visitor to our back porch. Over the past two weeks this cat has been visiting our porch. We give her milk and our leftovers (which are more than I would like with 3 little kids). This cat has been eating like a queen. She has now taken our porch as her new home.
The kids and I have named her Ms. Smokey. The cat and I have a current kinship because both of us are pregnant mothers. Maybe that is why she visited our porch and why I felt compelled to feed her.
Sometimes in the afternoons when she is laying in the sun I can see the kittens in her belly moving around. It makes me laugh because I am at the same stage stage in my pregnancy. If you look at my belly for any amount of time you will see lots of movement going on.
I am curious as to when she will deliver and where she will go. I have left a box with an old shirt in it outside and she does sleep in there at night. Maybe she will cuddle with her kittens there once they arrive!

Yup, the cat is homeless. She just wandered up to our porch looking for food.
